Program Requirements for the B.F.A.
The B.F.A. Program in Electronic Design and Multimedia requires a total of 75 credits in the major, with additional credits toward the degree coming from the General Education College Degree Requirements and any balance of remaining credits taken in Liberal Arts [or EDM] electivess for a total of 120 credits.
Senior Thesis is taken in the last semester and is a requirement for graduation.
Art Department Core
These two courses are required by the Art Department, but the credits are counted as part of the CORE/CLAS Requirements.
ART 10000 World Arts, 3 cr.
ART 21000 Writing Requirement, 3 cr.

ART 21067 History of Design, 3 cr. or ART 21068 History of Graphic Design, 3 cr.
Plus three Art History courses at the 20000 level or above from at least three of the six distinct art history subject areas, with advisement, 9 credits total.
