All students who declared an art major after Spring 2009 must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in order to remain in the major. Please read the details here.
DegreeAudit is a new and very useful tool available on the CUNY Web Portal. DegreeAudit lists the classes a student has taken and identifies classes needed for graduation. Log-in with your CUNY account. Please be advised that DegreeAudit is still being updated and may not reflect past degree requirements.
The Art Department has a full-time Academic Advising Specialist available Monday through Friday in the Art Office. In addition, full-time faculty is available to advise students regarding major requirements and career goals. Contact the Art Office for faculty office hours.

These codes are used to identify a student's major when filling out a major registration card. Students must meet with a faculty advisor prior to submitting a major registration card.
Students should fill out a graduation check form (see below) prior to meeting with a faculty member for advisement. Students who entered CCNY prior to FA05, have the option of continuing to follow the old curriculum and should use the appropriate form.
Students desiring advisement on the general education requirements should contact an advisor in the Office of Humanities.
